Life Re-Charged with Isagenix: Day 2
by FrosT

Edit: Read my newest post Isagenix is a Complete Waste of Time and Money!

Introduction
If you missed my original post on Life Re-Charged - Isagenix I suggest reading it before reading this post.

Day 2 of Isagenix Life Re-Charged
The end of Day 1 was very hard. I about lost it over hunger. After waking up ths morning I was not all that hungry. I had my shake and 1 pill. I also made my lunch which was roastbeef 2 slices of bread and pineapple slices. The shake this morning actually tasted better and I took my time drinking it (about 5 minutes for the 8oz of water and 1/2 cup of the shake powder mix). I felt re-charged this morning. Everyone says that by the second day the hunger pains go away...they were right. No dramatic change in the way I feel. I am pretty tired right now and I do not know why. Maybe some water will change that.

Tommorow is really my official day of starting the Isagenix 9-Day Cleanse program. I am looking forward to it and I hope this 2-Day Pre-Cleanse helps to make it a lot more effective like the program manual suggests.

Ending Notes
Tommorow I will take more measurements and post them here. I feel good now that the first day of the Isagenix Cleanse System is over and I am not nearly as hungry as I was yestarday. It is serously like 100times better. 1 Day down, 10 more to go.

Life Re-Charged - Isagenix
by FrosT

Edit: Read my newest post Isagenix is a Complete Waste of Time and Money!

Introduction
After talking to an old friend from Highschool and discussing my thyroid problem he turned me onto Isagenix, a toxic cleanser system. For more indepdth information about Isagenix visit:
http://liferecharged.isagenix.com/. Anyways I told him about my abnormal weight gain that came from my Thyroid problem and he told me about Isagenix, a program his mom got onto. Well Here starts day 1.

Day 1 of Isagenix - Life Re-Charged
Today is my Pre-Cleanse day. I had 1 Isagenix Shake for breakfast and a Natural something pill. For lunch I will have a lean roastbeef sandwhich with yogurt and lots of water. 90oz of water to be exact (roughly 3 liters). I felt great this morning, energetic and in a very happy mood. When I went pee my pee smelt...well kind of toxic. Which to me is a good sign.

This is my first 9-Day cleanse which is really an 11 day cleanse because I am doing the 2-day Pre-Cleanse. I am hungry, but nothing that will detour me from the program. I am about to go and eat my yogurt to help stop the pains.

My Standing Point
Some people may say this is a bunch of BS. Well that is what I am here to prove. I bought the 9-day supply solely because I trust my friends mom completely. That is the only reason I am trying Isagenix. I will keep you updated on how much weight I lose and my measurements. Questions feel free to comment on my blog.

Ending Notes
I am not 100% sure if this will work like everyone says it will. If it does not I am only out $120. If Isagenix works like everyone says it does Awesome! That was a well spent $120.

Measurements
Weight: 181lbs (with clothes)
Waist: 40"
Chest: 42"
Abdomen: 38"
(Note I will update these when I get home with the correct measurements, this is just a rough guess of what I remember this morning)

Cruising With the New FJ Cruiser
by FrosT

EDIT:
On April Fool's day of 2006 my brother-in-law, nephew and I all went crusing in Buena Vista on Chinaman's Gulch with his Toyota FJ-40 Land Cruiser. The day started off at 6:00am on our 2 hour trek to Buena Vista for this Land Cruiser 4-Wheelin' convention. As it was they were test driving the new FJ Cruiser Land Cruiser with just stock parts. Meaning no Lifts or any extra perks. What we saw was pretty amazing.

The new FJ Cruiser from Stock
The whole point of the trip to Buena Vista for this Land Cruiser convention was to test out the new FJ Cruiser and see if the factory shelved version can compete with the beefed up older Toyota Land Cruisers and other trucks. When the FJ Cruiser comes off the shelf, with no Lifts or bigger tires it is very comparable to most of the Land Cruisers that went on this Chinaman's Gulch trek. It was actually pretty amazing that a stock vehicle of the FJ Cruiser could climb like a beefed up FJ-40.

All I could think about is if you beefed up the FJ Cruiser like you did with the FJ-40...wow. That would be one hell of a machine!

Crusing with FJ Cruiser

Riding behind the FJ Cruiser in an old FJ-40 with my brother-in-law was a blast. We were able to take some good footage where is tire was at least 3ft off the ground. Leif, my brother-in-law just barely gat 4 new 35" tires and a 4" lift on his FJ-40 Land Cruiser with Rear Differential Lockers. His FJ-40 is a beast. Not only did we not get stuck, but almost every obstacle everyone had trouble with was a breeze! From climbing up rocks, to going down rocks the FJ-40 although the ride was very bumpy, the FJ-40 did not have a lick of trouble.

Ending Notes
The new FJ Cruisers are an awesome addition to the Toyota Land Cruiser line. Althought they start at $20,000 I would not buy one. Mainly because you would not want to take a brand new one off-roading and jack it up. If you ever get a chance to go off-roading in any Land Cruiser go for it. I gurantee you will have a blast!

Coca Cola Blak Softdrink
by FrosT

Introduction
While I was on my Safeway Trip last night looking for some food I spotted a new Softdrink from Coca Cola. I think this is competeing with the MDX Eneregy Drink from Mountain Dew. I have never had the MDX Mountain Dew Energy drink but the Coca Cola Blak was rather interesting.

Coca Cola Blak
After reviewing the ingrediants it became apperent of the name and design of the bottle for Coca Cola Blak, it contains coffee extract. The bottle was a dark coloring with the look of a coffee drink. I personally liked the design of the bottle and that ultimatley is what made me purchase the new Coca Cola black. Coca Cola Blak is housed in a glass bottle. As some might of expected Coca Cola Blak had little coffee taste to it. If this is considered an Energy Drink it tasted 100times better than Monster or even Red Bull.

Ending Notes
Try Coca Cola Blak, I promise you will not be disappotined. With it's slick design and awesome glass bottle, Coca Cola Blak hit the spot for my drink of my Safeway Deli Sandwhich. Give it a try, who knows Coca Cola Blak my twirl your taste buds a little bit.

Safeway's Delicious Deli Sandwhichs
by FrosT

Introduction
Last night I needed to drop off a pair of pants at the dry cleaners and pick up some food for dinner since I was fending for myself. Wanting some Ice cream I decided to just pick up some dinner from Safeway. Well here is how dinner from Safeway went.

Safeway Deli Sandwhich's
After browsing Safeway for about 15 minutes getting some Ben and Jerry's Ice cream, TGI Fridays Potatoe Chips and new Coca Cola Blak, I needed to get my dinner. I saw a sign that said, "Safeway Deli Sandwhichs" after reviewing the menu I ordered the Cold Prime Rib deli sandwhich for $5.99. For the price they gave you a lot of meat on this great sandwhich. Once I had the sandwhich it was time to head home.

Dinner from Safeway at Home
When I got home I sat down and played Counter-Strike: Source for a little while before I ate my sandwhich. After I was done plaing Counter-Strike: Source I ate the deli Cold Prime Rib sandwhich from Safeway. It was 100times better than I thought it would be. Alot better than Quizno's. I enjoyed every bite. For the price of the Safeway Deli Cold Prime Rib Sandwhich, I could not have done better to satisfy my stomache.

Ending Notes
If you are looking for a decent sandwhich made fresh for you than Safeway's Deli Sandwhichs are for you. With a reasonable price and great taste these sandwhichs are had to pass up from Safeway. Remember next time you are at Safeway, their fresh deli sandwhichs are top of the line.

Logitech X-230 2.1 32Watt Speakers
by FrosT

Introduction
After purchasing the Logitech X-230 2.1 32 Watt Speaker system from OfficeMax for $50.00 I was amazingly impressed. They work great not only as a computer speaker but also as an X-BOX/DVD Speaker system. No more having the music blast over the dialog in movies. Lets go over cost/benefit comparison.

X-230 Cost/Benefit
For the price I think I should of went for a 5.1 speaker system over the X-230 2.1 Logitech Speaker sound system. It works great, especially for gaming and movies, exactly what I needed. After installing it onto my computer I needed to reboot to get the sound to become crisper, must of been my sound card. But for the cost the benefit is great if you are looking for a little bit more sound from your DVD/XBox/Computer systems.

Ending Notes
If you are looking for a Speaker system that is not too pricey that allows for you to listen to movies and play video games without having to adjust the sound every 5 seconds than the Logitech X-230 2.1 32 Watt Speaker System is for you.

If you are interested in the X-230 2.1 32 Watt Speaker system by Logitech click here.

It's nearing the end of the semester, and I've been missing a lot of classes! Last week, I think I missed MW AND F lecture and made it only to F lab! I just missed because...let's face it...I'm irresponsible.
I missed on Monday morning because I had a migraine Sunday - Wednesday! We had really bad storms here on Sunday night. I woke up at 4AM with a migraine still (even after medication) and my area was under a tornado watch. I am terrified of tornadoes, so I could not sleep. I stayed up until 5AM then the alarm (clock, not tornado) went off at 8:30 AM. I still had a headache, so I didn't go to class. I went into work 2.2 hours late...but partly because I went shopping at the mall for about 30 minutes! haha (It actually felt good to be at the mall in the afternoon...strange) and I felt comparitively great.
Anway...I DID make it to class on Wednesday, but I didn't have all my labs (the ones I've been working on for about 3 blog entries haha). I have to finish two more tonight and finish my homework for this chapter. I also MUST make it to class tomorrow and lab. This is getting ridiculous! It's so frustrating too...no matter how early I get up or how hard I try to get there on time, I am still late late late.

IF I finish my Optics, I'm going to a dress rehersal for "Cinderella" at the college where I work.

I have a stinkin' cold sore!
I hate those things! so annoying...and this one is painful sad.gif
I'm having a pity party for myself tonight at 8:00PM Eastern. I hope everyone will join me (hehe)

I was hiding from everyone this morning at church. A really sweet lady came up and said, "hey...how are you?" then she stopped and was looking at my cold sore. I'm sure it was my imagination getting away from me, but she looked almost horrified! hahahha
ahhh...I was like, "I know...don't look haha"

I feel like a monster...it's really kind of funny though. blahh...and I have class in the morning. The cold sore is on the left side...the side that will face all my classmates when I sit down. (I sit on the right side of the room)
oh well...I'll survive :-)

Dr. Pepper - Berries and Cream Soda pop
by FrosT

Introduction
At safeway last night when I saw this soda that is apperently an old but newly released soda. The new Dr. Pepper - Berries and Cream is considered a Soda Fountain Classics. While at safeway I decided to buy this Dr. Pepper - Berries and Cream soda to see how the new Dr. Pepper tasted.

The Taste of Dr. Pepper
The first swig of the new Dr. Pepper - Berries and Cream tasted like a Black Cherry soda pop. Except one extra detail, it had the crisp taste of Dr. Pepper to accent the soda's black cherry taste. Personally I thought the new Dr. Pepper - Berries and Cream was good. I always liked Black Cherry Soda. One of my favorite soda aside from Mountain Dew.

Can Design of the new Dr. Pepper
Aside from the taste the design is also somewhat unique. Personall I do not like the colors of the new Dr Pepper - Berries and Cream design. The can is puple with a vanilla color circling the Dr. Pepper logo. Not my fortay, but it is what is inside the can that counts, not the outside.

Ending Notes
I liked the taste of the new Dr. Pepper - Berries and Cream. If you like Black Cherry soda or you are looking to change up your average soda, the new Dr. Pepper - Berries and cream is an excellent choice to twirl your taste buds.

I came home last night to find my kitchen floor strewn with glass. While I was away in the day/evening, my kitchen window fell out, pane and all! Today I am taking the pane to be repaired. Then I have to reinstall the windowpane...blahhhh. I just had the other pane from the same window repaired a few months ago. So, now I'll at least have two new sheets of glass in my window!

I don't know when my window fell out (haha...sounds funny that it "fell out") so there's no telling how long my cats were prancing on broken glass. They seemed to be drawn to it! Stinking curious cats haha tounge.gif

UPDATE: After I took my window to be repaired, I was leaving and heard this ::click click click:: noise as I drove away. I was like, "great...is something in my tire?" Sure enough, a hex-head screw was in my RR tire!!!! So, I had to go by a Maxi Muffler, and the gentleman there was nice enough to put some air in my tire so I could make it to Pep Boys. Then I was at PB about an hour because another car was ahead of mine. blahh...

After I finally made it back home, I cleaned and installed my window. happy.gif woohoo
Although it was under bad circumstances, I did actually accomplish two tasks today. That is big for me. Unfortunately, it seems those situations are the only times I accomplish things without too much trouble. ::sigh::

I made it through the day though...and didn't have to go to work since I was busy with broken windows and flat tires all day :-) hehe

What a day! haha

Work drives me crazy! Our boss gives us ridiculous "busy" work. My co-workers seem to be fine with it..."okay...yeah...we'll do it...no problem" and I'm like, "NO GRRRR I don't want to do this! This is stupid! You could get this info from the system by running a program instead of having us to look up 1000+ records one at a time!" Then I know after we have all done this manually, she is going to want (probably) me to put the info into Excel. If I'd had the Excel worksheet to begin with, it would have been MUCH easier!
Maybe I just need to work for myself...I've been self-employeed before. Argh!

4:30 PM UPDATE: Yep! I knew it! My boss just came in here and said she'd send me the Excel file so I could input all the data (1000 people times 2 plus some extras) grrrrrr
When you transfer written data into excel, there is a bigger risk for mistakes than if everyone had input them as they went! So if mistakes pop up guess who gets the blame... I do! sad.gif
This will REALLY stink! angry.gif sad.gif

A Romantic Night and Dinner for Two
FrosT

Introduction
Romance is key to any relationship I learned yestarday. My relationship was getting frustrated and over complicated with my fiance. I remembered something she told me a long time ago, that I was not very romantic. Well 2 years later it dawns on me. Better late than never. I will go through how to setup a perfect romantic night for two. Onto it.

Preperations
The key element to a Romantic Night is to surprise her (or him)! I stayed home from work with a Migrain so I could setup a great dinner for Lyndsey. I cleaned my apatment, vacuuming and everything. Once I was done cleaning I went online and Googled "homemade romantic dinner for two" and found the perfect recipie from RomanceStuck.com which led me to their Romantic Recipes for Two. Here I found the perfect recipe to make. Chicken Parmigiana. Well now I have my ingredients list for what I am going to make time to go shopping.

Shopping at Safeway
I went to Safeway to do my shopping but almost any grocery store will do. I picked up the essentials for the Chicken Parmigiana, chicken, spaghetti sauce, eggs, and of course bread crumbs. Now while you are at the store pick up 2 Tall candle sticks, candle stick holders (if need be) and a single rose of her favorite color in a vase. (I picked out a pink rose for Lyndsey). This should cost around $30 give or take. Once you have the items needed it is time to head home and cook.

Cooking the Chicken Parmigiana
1 hour and half is about how long it took to cook the Chicken Parmigiana. Allow yourself at least that much before your lover is to come home. For the list of ingredients and directions see Cooking the Chicken Parmigiana. They explain everything perfectly. Once you put the chicken into the oven, time to setup the table.

Setting up the Dinner Table
The trick to setting up the table is be very classy, but not perfect. Imperfections make you seem cute and sweet. Trust me on this one (at least for a guy doing it for a girl). I got out 2 nice plates, silverware that matched. I put the knife and spoon on left and side and the fork on the right hand side. When we sat down I said, "I hope the silverware is on correct because I used a saying my mom taught me, 'The knife protects the spoon from the fork'". She giggled, which set the mood.

After the plate was setup I put the flower in the middle with the candles on each side of the table. I knew when she was coming home, so about 10 minutes before she got home I lit the candles and turned out the lights. I was in another room and after about a minute or so went out and greated her. I received a big hug and kiss! After she came in I took the chicken out of the oven and put it on our plates and we ate.

The After Math
Well as Isaaic(sp?) Newton discovered for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. Well we had a great night last night. Let me just leave it at that. I proved that it worked!

Ending Notes
If you are frustrated with your love life, do something romantic for her/him. I gurantee they will be very appreciative of the gesture at least. Just a side note, I cannot cook very well and this chicken came out AWESOME! This was a great recipe to make a perfect night.

HP Jornada 540 Palm Pilot
by FrosT

Introduction
Last night my brother in law gave me his old Palm Pilot, which was passed down to him from my cousin. It is a year 2000 model Hewlett Packard Jornada 540. Works great and I hope it works out for my calander and remembering information, as I am very forgetful. We shall see how it works. Here are the specifications.

HP Jornada 540 Features
HP Jorndad 540
  • What's in the box: Jornada 540, Stylus, Hardcover, Serial cable, AC adapter, Quick Start Guide, Jornada CD-ROM, HP documentation pack, Microsoft ActiveSync
  • Sharp 12-bit color LDC screen, 4,096 colors
  • Includes MP3 player for listening to digital music, audiobooks, and news
  • Check e-mail and surf the Web
  • Manage your schedule with Pocket Outlook and your finances with Pocket Money

    Ending Notes
It does have internet, but it has to be via modem. I am not sure how to setup the internet yet, hopefully I will figure it out. A major downside is this palm does not have WIFI. The Jornada 540 would be totally awesome if it had the WIFI. That knocks it down some points, but oh well. It was free, what can you expect. If you have any tips, or software I am definatley interested, leave a contact email when replying. I would love to hear what you have.
