wow, i really like it here. xanga and diaryland were not at all like this. it's so quiet and peaceful. ::sigh:: feels good.
i guess i have to introduce myself properly...my name is colleen. hmm.. i go to an all-girls prep school, and i'm a sophmore.

they go to my town's public school. i went to school with them until 8th grade. then i decided that i needed change in my life. i didnt want to do the same thing that everyone else was doing (i was known as the trendsetter back in middle school). anyways, they are very dear to me and we have been friends for a very long time. id say 7 years.


ok so as you can see, i take a lot of pictures...i have plenty more for you, but alas, i should go.

BUT WAIT. yes, considering this is "emo blog", i should at least talk about the music that i lurve.

mmkay so youre going to laugh, but i am a life long fan of hanson. but lets not get into that right now. i love acoustic music with feeling. not quite emo (although i do like some), but not mindless, meaningless music. john mayer is my homeboy, and so is howie day. they are both very talented and i love their music. next is something corporate. god bless piano rock. they are so good, i cant even put it into words. and now for the listing:

this studying for midterms shizz is for the effing birds. i really shouldnt be procrasting, but green day has me captivated at the moment. my brother just explained the whole story of "American Idiot" and now im trying to analyze the lyrics. theyre making a movie out of it. how fucking awesome is that

boy have i got a surprise for you. i went a little camera crazy today...so i have tons of stuff.

midterms are finally overr. i studied my ass off for those.on thursday i studied for 4 hours straight. i didnt even watch the oc. yeah so now it is a lovely three-day weekend, and tomorrow i am off to vermont! we have to bring my brother back to college, and my mom and i have decided to turn this into a nice little vacation (my dad has to work). i cant tell you how much i love vermont. its such a stress reliever for me. so relaxing. and we're staying at my favorite hotel. they have the best pillows ever. and of course, you gotta have the down comforter. ahh heaven.

my mom asked me to clean my room today. this is what i did:


thats right, all of my clothes go into the closet. now, that is what every kid does, right? well, it just so happens that i am in the midst of redoing my room. my dad took my closet doors off. how nice. haa you can see my bra on the left. lmao it looks hugee.

im painting my walls "refreshing pool." its a delightful color. my theme is coastall. why? because i officially hate winter. it sucks. it snows, and then it fucking RAINS! i havent even gone snowboarding yet! gOSH..

i went shopping today. H&M is god.


i got this new shirt for 10 dollars. pshh i am such a good bargin shopper. then i got accessories for the caper's semi formal coming up next friday. im so excited, its going to be so much fun. i think dave is going. he was my favorite exboyfriend. sucha nice kid, and such a good boyfriend. too bad i dumped him for brendan. what a giant mistake, for brendan turned out to be a complete asshole. ANWYAYS.

wow, the shirt looks ginormous in that picture. i swear, im not fat. its an extra small.

next i went to hollister. gosh why do they have such cute stuff!! yet its all such crappy quality i cant stand it. but i always give in. i bought this:

im back from another wonderful trip to vermont. my mater and i did lots of shopping on church street, the coolest place in the world. we went to urban outfitters and i did some of the best bargin shopping i think ive ever done. a shirt for 5$, two tapestries for 27$, a pair of chucks for 20$. it was fantastic. the taperstries are for my room. my mom and i are going to sew two of them together and make a duvet cover for my down comforter thing and then use the rest for a curtain. coolbeans.

i only have pictures of my shoes because thats all i had time for:







and now for a random me photo with my "THE MUSIC LIVES" shirt (that i made) even tho you can only see the "THE". nice.

those are my new glasses. for distance. funny..they look exactly like my glasses for reading. minus the rinestones in the corner. mm. rimmed glasses.
