Sherman got pepper sprayed through the fence by a nut job. Fortunately the tag checking officer was on hand to speak to the guy. He admitted that Sherman hadn't even barked at his dog.

Looked up the product sprayed at him. It was actually a citronella based liquid. In any case, it was wrong of the guy to spray Sherman through the fence when he was well behaved, or even if he wasn't.

Sherman visited both Cary dog parks today:
Furry Acres (private, but he was allowed in for free by the owner.
Godbold Park. Wasn't willing to pay $10 for a non-resident day pass, but we took a good look at the play area.

My owner bought me Allen DeHart's Triangle Trail Guide 2nd ed. It has over 400 trails within fifty miles from our house. Our goal is to walk every trail that allows dogs and people to walk together.

After a quick stop at Biscuitville my owner took me fishing. We drove to a boat launch and got setup. I got tied to a tree branch. Every time he cast the bait it drove me crazy. I wanted to dive in the river and retrieve it like I do with my toys. He put my life jacket on after pulling off of the tree. I pretty much whined the whole time and got muzzled because of it . My owner did move me to several different locations, but the rope leash kept wrapping around his feet. After a few hours and no fish we took a short walk. He said I gave him a headache, but still took me to the dog park to play on the way back home.

Stay well protected from ticks this year. My vet suggests adding a flea and tick collar in addition to the drops on your back.

Added East Clayton Dog Park to my visits. It was not huge, but there was plenty of room to chase old tennis balls.

Add Rotary Park in Kinston, one in Winston Salem, three in Wilmington, plus one each in Kure and Carolina Beach.

In addition Sherman visited Fort Fisher, and Carolina Beach State Park (only a drive through today.)
