...so hello. I still have figured out all the configy thingies to do with my profile which doesnt really..er...exist at this moment in time but maybe I will get around to doing that. Any advice?
Well I'm 16 and live on a small island in the English Channel (Guernsey) but HOPEFULLY I will be leaving next year when I turn 18 and bugger off to the UK to study fine art. At this point, if all goes according to plan, I will acquire a life, as England has cool things like lots shops and cafes and you can walk down the street anonymously.
I'm currently studying 5 AS-Levels at the Guernsey Grammar School and Sixth Form Centre. The subjects I have subjected myself too are English Lit and Lang, History, Art and Design, Religious Studies (Religious Philosophy and Ethics) and Critical Thinking. I have just realised how many that is...eurch!
As if I didn't have enough to do I will also be commencing a short course with the Open University in fiction writing...I don't know why, I'm lazy as hell and will probably forget to complete the bloody thing.
I spend my spare time reading just about anything, but I like Milan Kundera, Terry Pratchett, Plato, Oscar Wilde, Jack Keraouc and trashy books like The Devil Wears Prada and violent crime thrillers...so basically, yeah, I read anything.
The rest of my spare time is spent avoiding doing the work for my essay heavy subject-load and hanging out with the Boy.
In fact it is our second anniversary on monday and for some reason every decent restaurant in Guernsey has decided to shut/refurbish. Poo.
Anyway I've gone on too much. I look forward to reading other peoples blogs. Hurrah for the blog revolution! |
