Tales of the Abyss is good continuation of the long running Tales RPG seires.
It has a good flowing storyline that pulls the player into their world. The downside of the story is that it does not always make the next destination clear and leaves little room for discovering side quests, which I am glad to say that there are alot of.
Also this game has a good supply of interesting characters. The characters are implemented in a feasable manner that doesn't seem to be obviously. Also the characters are all connected in their own subtle ways and in the same way thier own personal enimies are too.
The gameplay in this game is what you would expect from an RPG on the world map. You run from place to place on the world map and enter cities and dungeons. There are also vehicles that let you travel on the water or in the air. The game play in combat is good but it is almost the same as a previous game Tales of Symphonia. There are some changes however. By standing in glowing rings and useing skills called artes the technique can change based on the glowing ring called a Field of Fonons.
This is a good game and I recommend it to any and all RPG fans. I give this game 4 and a half stars.
