Over the past few days, I have been spending way too much money. I have purchased nearly $500.00 worth of Microtech knives. Here are pictures of the blades that I have recently acquired.
Now, I know what you are thinking... "You purchased 3 of the same knife?" The answer is YES. I did. However, they are all different. Different colors, and one of them is a different model, as you can see. The Microtech Assailant Credit Card knife is the best knife I have ever bought. I love this thing. It comes with a Microtech Wallet that serves as a sheath for the actual blade. With this blade, there is never a reason to not have a blade on you. Another thing I like about this knife, is that it is legal almost anywhere, but yet it can do some extremely heavy cutting/slashing. The first Assailant I ordered is now my wallet. I have received 2 of the 3 Assailants that I have ordered. At $64.99 a pop, they are not cheap. But you get what you pay for. The actual knife above is the Microtech Currahee, the knife used by many of today's Special Forces units in the US Army. The blade was initially desgined for Boat Team 20, of the US Navy. This thing is a beast. I paid $219.97 for this blade, making it the most expensive knife I have ever purchased. I am ready to get up in the woods and see how this thing cuts. The flashlight you see is the one I also ordered from New Graham. at $18.97, it is the perfect light to have on me at all times. One problem many people dont rectify when putting together a CCW rig is a flashlight. Many times, I am out late at night and light is something that we subliminally take for granted. This INOVA light gives me more than enough light. I am on a break from buying blades now.
As for Operator. They are a band from Los Angeles that I bought today. Cool thing about this band is that the lead singer is a black belt in Jui Jitsu. He doesnt drink or smoke. Nothing. Total antithesis of a rockstar.
