K. So nmber one. K here goes. First off I just wanna explain what's gonna be the whole bracket system feel free to ignore this bit.

So, lately I've been thinking about what music means to me. I mean with recent (by recent i mean all the time) developments it seems to me that trying to find the right band-mates and band for you is a lot like finding the right woman/man for you, it's a case of Trail and Error. Which I guess I'm cool with. Sometimes it does get annoying though. People not turning up, having to comprimise the sound you want cuz you're so desperate to make music.
Just lately I've been talking to so many people about music. People who're in bands, people who just love music, people who just like music. And it's weird the differences between difference types of people. Some people who are in bands or are like passionate about music, talk about the craziest kinda stuff. Like they give me advice like, "Man, you need to leave the emo scene."or, "Dude you gotta listen to what's goin on with music nowadays." and some critisms like "you're lyrics are very depressing."

Now, as long as I've been wanting to make music I've always stuck by some morals:
-music is expression of self. It's about putting down on paper and showing it through sound how you feel. Whether it be in love, outta love, alone or adored.
-"Emo" or w/e that entales is a short hand way of saying emotional. Yes I am emotional.
-One of the most important things is when you're singing to KNOW what you're singing about and have it be something close to your heart..Or something that's on your mind at the time. If anyone else thinks the same. Awesome.
I guess some people's advice was helpful. Music IS art and although it can be so difficult to find the right people, and however difficult it is, I still live in the hope that someone shares the same views as me and just wants to make music for the sake to just express themselves. And someone who can use my messages and their own messages to put across a sound that'll no doubt be cast in some form of genre. But that wouldn't matter. It'd be our sound.
