Now Birmingham is the UK's second biggest city ans this woman and a work colleague claimed to have been abducted, but no one else in the city saw anything. As I'm sure you can imagine we all took the p*** out of her, but she stuck to her story and was adamant it happened. I do not believe for one minute that she was abducted by aliens, but I just can't work her out. She's a normal down to earth working class Brummie. Why would she want to make up such a ridiculous story????? Is she totally deluded??? I'd adopt one :) No one can prove the existence of Aliens without proper PROOF... pictures/videos can be deceiving. Even government spin doctors are at a loss of what to do these days, to remain rich and powerful. They are still resorting to exploiting human weaknesses in order to cause trouble, which keeps the rich, rich. She makes fudge and bribed us unashamedly to come back to HFM for the show. Finally I had managed to get hold of the both the recently released Def Leppard album “Songs From The Sparkle Lounge” and also the latest Whitesnake offering “Good To Be Bad”. I have been attempting to blag a press pass for the NEC show later on in the summer as yet to no avail. Instead we introduced the crucial debate earlier - about humans having "superpowers" and how the State might cope with that concept (as Heroes Series 2 has started on the BBC), interspersed with more tracks from "the Vault". Tune in to any digital 'sky' or other network channel on a break - each and every one are synchronised to bombard the viewer with mindless ads for cars, perfume, body re-adjustments etc. Why is this? - Give the viewers a break, otherwise, like me you will end up refusing to watch any form or make of TV. Oh, and my son turns the volume down every time an ad comes on - you can't fool the youth![/color] ****************************************************************************** Not quite sure what Betty and Bob were alluding to, but it was good to see others knew what we were getting at….. As for the rest of the show, amongst other things we introduced the "Euro Rock" of the Moldovian band “Unbreakable”; Tom disappeared into Ian's "Rock Vault"; and the International Voice Over Woman, Deborah De Vries, joined the team to understand the chaos behind the scenes..... More newish music from The Answer and the "Countryish" style of the Deadstring Bros saw another packed 1st hour (Tom’s still threatening to do a “Country” show – “Yee Ha!!”………).
