Vegetarian VS Omnivores

Starrylife is feeling abnormal

This is just one funny scenerio that I thought of a few days ago: tounge.gif
Vegetarians: Ok, those who eat meat are CRUEL and species of animals are extinct nowadays because of the overhunting and over-eating of those animals!! angry.gif
Omnivores: Vegetarians are the MOST CRUEL one. Do you know why?
Vegetarians: Why?eep.gif
Omnivores: Because you Vegetarians eat veggies! And the most important thing on Earth are not animals, it is air! Oxygen! And where does oxygen comes from?
Vegetarians: From green plants that photosynthesize,of course!
Omnivores: Ha! So if everyone on Earth were vegetarians, then green plants are in danger. If all green plants were eaten (Well, the trees are in danger due to deforestation, which is already a big problem), then there'll be NOT MUCH oxygen left in the Earth's atmosphere! Then. doesn't it make vegetarians worse than omnivores? Vegetarians will be killing off the entire world's population just by eating more and more vegetables!
----------End of Scene-------------
So, that's why I decided to make this scenerio of mine on the web for all to decide: Who is actually more cruel and why? Or are both of them equally cruel?
Actually I feel that both are equally cruel in their own ways.
Omnivores who can eat meat are really letting some species of animals to be extinct or to be endangered. For example, the DoDo bird. It became extinct because hunters overhunted it for food.
Whereas, being vegetarians can minimise the harm made to the animal kingdom, as we do not harm the animals directly, that is killing it directly when it's still alive. However, vegetarians could actually be competing for food with animals that are herbivores. As majority wins, the animals (esp. wild animals) that only feed on plants may die of hunger.
Omnivores are said to be cruel because the way they kill the animals is cruel. Several animals locked up in a very small area. They are not being fed with food or water. Many die of hunger and thirst en route to slaughter.
So, vegetarians feel that at least they do not let the animals feel the pain of being killed, and thus not that cruel.
Ok, I'm a vegetarian myself. I feel that actually being a vegetarian has it cons too. For exmaple, many vitamins cannot be obtained from just vegetables. Luckily, I'm not a strict vegetarians, so at least I can get the 9 proteins from eggs, and nuts.
One of its pros is that...well, veggies contained not much fats (I mean non-saturated, which is healthier than saturated ones found in meat), and contain enough vitamins, so it's actually a very healthy diet.
Ha...I feel like I'm writing an argumentative essay. OH NO...how can my blog become an essay. No~!Hahax... okok, I shall stop my own opinons on this topic here now. Please do give your own comments on this topic too. I'll appreciate it. Please do ignore all my spelling mistakes, though. (Haha grin.gif )
