I just randomly remembered a part of last night's dream, so I thought I might share it here. From what I can remember, it was me and someone else. We were doing this little play on some strange story that my friend had thought up, and I was playing the witch. I can remember putting on the wig. Most of the play was spent sitting in the stands watching my friend do her performance, which was much longer than mine. I glanced around the bleachers a lot, catching a few of the eyes. I can also remember that the scene itself was pretty dark, but the bleachers were set in the middle of a field, probably in the prairies, but a highway was set just there, separated from the field by a wooden fence. The stage was set with a black velvet cloth. After the performance was over, everyone went to go have a picnic. o_o We just walked further down the field to a spot we thought was good and started eating on this really big cloth. After that, a small group of people, including my boyfriend, decided to go for a walk. He didn't look too decided about going, but more like he just followed. I remember him looking behind him to me before leaving with them. I thought about it for a second, then turned back to the people and the food, thinking i'd just wait until he returned. Not too long later my friend who was doing the performance with me decided to go for a walk too, with a group of her friends. I thought I'd tag along since it was nice. So we walked along the inside of the gate whereas my boyfriend's group had somehow gotten onto the other side, closer to the road. The last part of it that I remember was that we were walking along it, we had been walking for a while, when our groups finally crossed, but still on opposite sides of the fence. My group had decided to try to play a prank on the other when they had caught up with them, so they got ready to do it (i forget what) I went up to the fence to where a piece of wheat was poking through a hole. I looked through the crack just as my boyfriend turned around and he gave me this look that was sort of like an apology. I was sad and I didn't know why. It was strange, I'd never had a dream that included a field like that D: by the way -- happy thanksgiving everyone! |

it's all the same, it's all the same. Okayokay, I know I haven't posted in a while here. Gomen! But today I have a dream to write about here. It was seriously weird. xD I remember waking up in a strange room, on the floor. There were some people standing around me, others sleeping, too. The ones that were awake were just as confused as I was. I began to recognize some people, from class, from people that I've seen on the street, etc. After talking to a few of them I realized that we all had no clue what was going on- we had just gone to sleep the night before and woken up here, penned like sheep. We were taken to another room in the house. It was a pretty big place so I guess I'd be better off calling it a manor or something. This is where I start forgetting what happened in the dream (it was pretty long). The next thing that I remember is that, hours after waking up, we were told that we had done something awful, and that we had to die for it. But none of us knew what it was. I had also found my boyfriend in the mass of people, so I was somewhat comforted, not being alone. The manor was very dark, with long hallways and smaller rooms. That's why I say 'mass of people' but there was really only around 100 or so. We were taken up to the top floor of the manor where there were a few more rooms. We were taken into the biggest one where there was a fire place and a huge satin-covered, yellow couch. On our way up the stairs we had seen the shadows of winged things flying around, but we were too psyched out to believe in monsters at that point. I was at the end of my nerves when they started splitting up the group into two. Tacokun and I were left in the smallest group, of only around 14-25 people. We were told to sit on the couch. A sheep came out of nowhere and jumped into my lap once we were all uncomfortably seated, many of us overlapping our neighbour. I was seated between Tacokun and one of my friends I had found. The sheep was very soft, and very quiet. It was scared. I held onto it cause I had the feeling that it needed to be protected. I don't remember much from this point on, and nearer the end I started waking up so it got hazy. But between them telling us and acting out how they were going to kill us, I pressed my face into the sheep's wool. I looked up once and I saw a town on fire, people running about. That freaked me out so I did it again and I was back in the room. People started murmuring, "I don't want to die. I don't want to die." Over and over. They told us that these were our last minutes. The couch disappeared and we all stood, confused once again. I put the sheep on the ground and stood facing Tacokun. Then a new face joined the opposing party with what looked like puppet strings attached to her hands. She wore very extravagant, yet dusty clothing. All of a sudden we weren't under our own control, but we were dancing. Without music, in our last minutes of life. I started to cry and Tacokun tried to comfort me, but I thought that was silly, I mean, how could he when he knew that he was going to die too? I remember that we were seated again after a moment of haziness. We were all trying our best to try to get them to change their minds, either by haggling, or in my case, by a show of innocence (which was simply begging them with wide eyes xD). The monster that I tried to persuade almost gave in, but he ran away and a new one came and grabbed me by the hair. Tacokun tried to save me. One of the guys started singing. Strangely it was a latin, religious song that we've learned in choir. >_> And then someone who knew the alto line came in. But their voices were weak. We were terrified. The soprano part came about and I raised my voice to it. But even though I was trying to sing loudly it came out just above a whisper. I started crying again at the end of the song and sat down, clinging to the sheep and not Tacokun. We could not be saved, I knew, they were the ones in charge here. The puppeteer smiled at us. She didn't talk out loud but we heard it even still. "You have tried very hard to try to get us to spare your lives. You did not prevail though. Say goodbye; you will be lead to the next room." Tacokun knelt down beside me and around the sheep, I clung to him. "I don't want to die," I told him. "I love you, I don't want to die!" But he could only tell me that he loved me too. We were starting to freeze up in fear. I was the first to go between the two of us. Clinging to the sheep, I was grabbed by the hair again and dragged to my feet. "I'm sorry I couldn't save you," I whispered to the sheep as I made my way to the doorway. The sheep bleated and nuzzled my cheek. I stepped in and saw a bit of dusty sunlight filtering in through the ceiling. The sheep jumped out of my hands before the puppeteer standing at the end of the room could raise her hands, and it morphed into what could only be described as an angel. He smiled and every glowed as white as he did and then.. .. I was kneeling on a play structure. It was like the old one at my old school was. Wooden, set atop gravel, looking out across the field. People who I could only assume were the ones that had gone before me ran around me, along the structure, in the field, along the gravel. I stood up, and I felt arms around my waist. I turned my head to find Tacokun appear there. We were smiling. "Is this death?" I asked him, and he shook his head. "I don't know." "We're together." I whispered, unsure whether I was happy or just plain in bliss from being with him AND alive. "Yeah." he grinned and kissed my cheek. The last thing I remember from that dream is the sheep running across the field towards us all happy =o |
