THIRTY EIGHT

woke up when the sun was just coming up, and did a ton of things requiring running around back and forth from my apartment. on mornings like today i appreciate my location. i wrote a paper before noon. im ready to try preparing my taxes again tomorrow. i have sent my registration documents back to quebec for my student loan. i have met with my professor about a paper for which I was recently overwhelmed with excitement, but quickly came to feel derailed by the amount of reading i had done since declaring my topic. the meeting set me back up on my feet and i ran once again up seventh street to the library to pick up a brand spanking new book on french soldiers, crossing my fingers it was on the shelf as the online catalogue indicated it would be. indeed it was! ran back home and edited some work for a friend. ran back out to the co-op for a bag of fresh crunchy carrots, and tossed them (and some other lovely things) into a tall pot to make a nice soup. german class is in two hours and if i hustle i can do some of thursday's readings and not have a complete meltdown on wednesday.

my relaxed week is offically over, and ive undertaken a complete 180 complètement sans café. i wonder how long this can actually last.
