| Biography |
Born in Saskatchewan, this prairie girl felt uninspired by the flat fields and bare horizon. I escaped in to books for the first 18 years of my safe, comfortable life and dreamt of a day I would see and say all the things that I had been reading. The university life provided somewhat of an escape, but again, beyond the interesting halls, there were the flat fields, cow pastures and gopher holes I found boring and uninspiring. Others found the sense of space uplifting and zen-like. But this girl didn't. So I went from university to another country place, Alberta. From there I indulged my lust for travel by teaching English in Japan. And back to Canada to find my home amongst the gorgeous mountains and breathtaking forests of Vancouver. |
