the flight of the key

as i reached home just now, it just occurred to me that there's a really very redundant key that is still in my key case, taking up a lot of space and weighing me down.
does dropping my key
accidentally along the corridor, watching it fall to the ground, constitute killer litter?
hmmmmm.
goodbye, key!:)
ohohoh obviously i hafta mention that new useless piece of shit that apple came up with. quite eagerly awaiting the time it comes to singapore and some dumbass fanboy/fangirl actually buys this thing.

its been an interesting first day of my life as a civilian! okay, perhaps interesting is the wrong word to use. its just been a normal day i guess, just that it feels oh-so-special for some reason.
visited my dentist in the morning, to check on that wisdom tooth hole in my mouth. and apparently its healing well, so yay! no infection or any other yadayada that threatened to derail my life as a free man.
saw this 2 bar lieutenant at white sands while i was on the way home, had to fight the urge to flash my pink ic at him. hahaha!:)
ohohoh moe's approved my relief teaching thingy. so i shall start hunting for schools soon, hopefully one nearby. if all else fails, there's always vs to run back to! hopefully it wont reach that state though, i dread to think what it would feel like to take the 53-36 journey all over again, this time as a frigging teacher.
relief teacher, i mean.
anyhow, i just hope to get a position in any school. need the work, need the money, need the experience.
okie shall leave it for now, adios!

songs

im currently hooked onto empire state of mind (my ipod has been on repeat on for the past hour and a half) by jay-z and alicia keys.
as in, melodically speaking there's nothing much there, but the beats really capture me.
and the lyrics are pretty meaningful, in that its sort of a tribute to their native new york, about struggling in life, making it in new york where dreams come true. especially poignant in the face of the 9/11 attacks that happened in the past.
yupyup!
okay since im talking about my playlist, i might as well mention starfield (everything is beautiful is in the playlist). discovered this christian band last year, while randomly surfing through last.fm. at first i scoffed at their band name (come on man, it sounds so cliched) but when i heard the songs and read the lyrics, they really touched me. i tried looking for the original album in stores, but apparently its not available in singapore. so...... i had to get it thru other means? hahaha.
the last song is sunshine by keane. no particular reason for choosing it, just heard it and thought i'll put it in. ha!
im feeling quite sunshiney today, so i guess it fits for now.
its 1.43 am right now, adios for now!:)

ivan yup fiiiiiiiiiinally. ohman, we jus werent meant to be in the same school!:( see u in the courts, nus hotshot! hahaha kidding, we smu nuts stand no chance can. lol!
two things you never ever wanna hear when you're on an operating table are "oh no" and "that doesnt look good."
seriously, i think the doctor must have forgotten that i was just under local anesthetic and could hear what he was saying.
apparently, my 2nd wisdom teeth surgery was slightly more complicated than my first one. the first one, i only needed 3 anesthetic jabs, while i took 7 for the second surgery.
in addition, for the first one, my 2 wisdom teeth were taken out in just 3 parts. for the second one, the 2 teeth were taken out in 7 fragments.
gosh 7 must be my lucky number of the week. hahahaha.
okay anyway, back to the topic. the doctor exclaimed "oh no" and "that doesn't look good" because my wound wasn't bleeding. now, when i first heard it, i was like, "huh, isn't no bleeding better?"
but then i guess any decent bio student would explain that blood clots, so it helps to protect the wound from germs and infection. i guess i shld noe this too, cos its sorta common sense. but obviously i was feeling sorta groggy after the 7 x anesthetic and cldnt really think properly. hahaha.
speaking of 7 x anesthetic, its like such an overdose that i couldnt feel my left ear for a few hours after the surgery! scary stuff man.
thankfully, the wound's fine (for now, anyway).
there are better things in the world to worry about than a hole in my mouth!:)
