as everyone knows, it was pouring cats and dogs this afternoon. which made for quite interesting scenery, while i was out taking a therapeutic bus ride. hahaha nothing like spending my day off on a bus, with intriguing company! LOL.
it was actually therapeutic only up to a certain point, where dozens (no joking) of wet and frustrated ppl boarded the bus, bringing along alot of water vapour and filling the air full of resentment. mmm that was somewhere around the rail mall, if i rmb correctly. speaking of the rail mall, i find it totally fascinating. reminds me of my childhood days in perth, where there are an eclectic mix of shops. surprises abound, not chain stores all around.
anyway anyway, life goes on. that quidnunc of a girl managed to make lemons out of lemonade with me, til it felt so suffocating. dang. but it feels better pouring it all out sometimes; sadly, there's not many people around whom i can do that to.
off to the airport in 2 days. mixed feelings actually; i'm not sure what's going to happen (both here and there), so im sorta in a state of trepidation. okay maybe im exaggerating a little bit. hahaha. we'll see whether jiejie was right after i return.

it hasn't exactly been the best of weeks, even though there were some pretty notable highlights which made it much more bearable than it would have been.
okay, in fact, its been a really bad week. \
sometimes its just too tiring to keep up a front all the time, pretending that nothing is wrong.
i wish i wouldnt.
when people have different expectations, it often leads to alot of compromise, which is fine. but after a while, its just so tiring to keep on giving and giving to try to fulfil certain expectations, just that you find yourself compromising on your own expectations.

its hard to believe, but my hair is at its longest-ever length in my whole life right now.
but then, if you think again, it does make sense. a prefect in primary school, a guai studious boy in secondary school, a reluctant student in jc, a clerk in army.
which sounds like the best time to let my hair grow?
