i think i should start learning from michael essien. 14 hours of sleep a day! let's see, if i start sleeping 14 hours a day on weekdays, i'll have to start sleeping at 4pm, which would probably be right after i come home from school. adeh. what a life. well i only managed a mere 11 hours today, which probably already makes me one of vj's latest people to wake up on saturday, cos they'll probably be up since 7am mugging their socks off. the difference between tj and vj is probably that tj mugs constantly throughout j2 whereas vj mugs like f*** in the last 4 months before the As. so i was frowning at some physics question in the afternoon when mei gave me that saying about how it take 40 muscles to frown and 13 muscles to smile. which i really think is a scam cos its feels so much more difficult to smile than to frown. adios. tag xl actually i did see him at the counter area. his voice instantly reminded me of mr lau! haha khyrul lol. at least its not some super kung guy who looks like he's gonna beat u up. haha

weekends are highly unproductive. because: -if im out, i probably wont be studying. (even if i went out to study, i wldnt have done much) -if im at home, im in front of the com or tv. (even if i did sit down to do some work, the law of fidgety butts means i cant sit still for more than 10 minutes at a go) so i end up listening to crappy music such as kelly clarkson's latest album. cant believe the direction she's taken with this album. i would have been happy enough with the tried-and-tested formula of her first 2 albums. bah. in my national day mood already! which shldnt be happening since prelims are just a few weeks away! horrors.

national day celebrations were great today. 6 of us hid in the classroom to play yw, jh and my ds. damn fun lah. vs4h vs dhs4g street soccer followed. even 06s56 were represented by me from 4h and cs from 4g! kewl. the 4h team consisted of sanjay, johnnie, darren, willis, nickolas, weijie and me. the game started at a pulsating pace with both teams full of energy (even after the long walk from bedok to tanah merah.. thanks to johnnie). the 4h starting lineup consisted of johnnie, sanjay, darren, nickolas and weijie. even though there were attempts on goal at both sides of the court, the game stood at 0-0 after about 10 minutes due to some good saves made by both keepers. timo then substituted nickolas a few minutes later, and promptly broke the deadlock after finding space on the right, rolling the ball past cs. 1-0 however, as play restarted, timo was caught unaware by the long ball punted forward and allowed the dhs player, unmarked, to shoot past johnnie. 1-1 after some superb linkup play by dhs, the same player scored again to make it 1-2. jay then levelled the scores with a calm finish after receiving a pass on the left channel. 2-2 the dhs team scored again after the striker, receiving a high pass, volleyed the ball right past keeper johnnie on his first touch. 2-3 however, jay was not to be outdone. receiving a pass on the left, he confunded 2 defenders with some deft footwork and cheekily flicked the ball into goal with his other foot. the keeper stood no chance. 3-3 much of the play was driven by darren's tireless runs around the court and his pinpoint passes, while weijie threatened the opposition with his strength. willis was, as usual, a rock in defence, while shan you caused trouble with his pace. johnnie produced some great instinctive saves, and even bore the impact of a full-blooded volley from the dhs striker.

had a pretty decent weekend.. pity its gonna end so soon. anyway i love the way its just pouring cats and dogs now, gives me such a chill kinda feeling. woot. new skin! hmm went to the gym yesterday afternoon after not going for quite some time. crowded with sec school kids as usual..bleh. its irritating especially if you leave at the same time as them, meaning that you'll be sharing the toilet with all those noisy, rowdy, ppl who can stare at the mirror for 20 minutes and ppl trying to sing. nutty. anyway i think my black eye rings are, if possible, getting blacker. which sort of makes me look positively emo, or murderous, depending on which angle you look at me from (and also depending on my facial expression) went to church after that for prac. dinner was damn entertaining. everyone else had already finished their dinners, so we were all sitting there watching hilary finish her food. then we were like observing all her perfectionist eating habits. damn funny lah. then some of us were like speaking in canto so that she cldnt understand what we were saying about her, but then she was like um chio-ing the whole time cos she knew we were talking about her. super cute lah. supper at kfc after that. saw maow there with some of his friends.. and he doesnt seem to have changed much. lol. i didnt eat anything, jus had an ice tea, cos the idea of eating so much fast food in one week is, well, sickening (i ate it like on last sunday, monday, wed, thurs and fri) urgh. got news about sunderland's win on the way home yesterday. then joseph and i were like celebrating on the bus. haha spurs can really go eat s**t lah. and arsenal won! what a way to end the weekend on a high note

ive been trying to recreate the kind of studying that brought me thru the O levels. so im currently on self-ESP (remember ESP? vs guys? haha). obviously, without the company of the 4h guys, no sea breeze, no fixed abode to revise at, it does get a bit tough oh well im trying anyway. saw 2 ppl carrying the same bag as me this week, which rather shocked me cos i was thinking nike wasnt gonna release it in singapore. well it happens they did. though nike singapore lagged nike hongkong like.. 8 months? at least i had my 8 months of uniqueness. ahhhh. and computing coursework is finally over! tag cs but u played pretty well anyway towards the end. haha chris i dunno.. left early :X but im sure johnnie can take the brunt of the impact much better than nick! hah weijie sorry lah. cant write with flair. khyrul im so sorry you didnt come then. why?!?! we could have done better with shiny shoes! josh fixed. thanks! naim its okay we gotta get together to play soccer after prelims or sth! bec' yellow blue red green! arghhhh jc life is so revolting!

celebrated xl and mag's bday yesterday at pepper lunch at taka. things didnt exactly go totally to plan, but overall it went well i guess. the most impt thing was that they enjoyed it lah. haha took one and a half hours to get home cos of the crappy orchard jam. on the bright side, at least the air con was at full blast, tv mobile was muted, and i had a nice long nap on the way home. nice simple comforts. the way life should be.

it takes 62 minutes to walk from tampines stadium back to my house. i know cos i jus did it today. such fun. its just that i left my wallet and phone in the car, and when i realised it, it was too late. so, i walked home rather than having to bear the scrutiny of ppl if i asked to borrow a phone. it actually wasnt that far. plus it was real windy today. though all in all its still damn retarded. anyway our class recorded a record turnout of 4 for today's teachers' day celebrations. even though its a total waste of time, it was pretty entertaining (in many ways). so i dun actually regret going lah. met qweeeeks at airport after that. and then we decided to go somewhere else after meeting at airport. totally retarded when you travel all the way to the east and go back westwards again. quite an eventful day. tag cl haha you have to see it in context! its really the former, as much as i wldnt mind it being the latter. lol bec oui. dun get me started ah. ha
