been quite a while since i blogged, and im glad to announce im finally done with all my camps (just three actually, but it felt like eternity) before school starts.
actually i realised my excitement for school wasn't much of getting to know new people, but more so the experience of getting back into the classroom and learning something, filling up my brain (if it still exists after 2 years) and trying to solidify that mush in my head to something more sturdy. kinda weird, i guess. only realised this when one of my camp facilitators was saying how he was excited about school last year (he's year 2) cos of all the new friends he's going to make. like, what a stark contrast.
it feels shitty to realise you wasted 2 years filling your brain with junk that you don't really need, but is hard to get rid of. after the event was canceled this morning, they made us all drink several bottles of water, and the army boys just cldnt help but rmb the saf 7 core values. like, wth.
ohwells.
school starting soon, kinda miss the good old days at stanchart already. sighhh not forgetting the lack of income now.
adios!

im sorry to say that i feel nothing for the yog that's taking place in singapore for the first time in the world.
just imagine that sentence said in monotone k. that's just about as much feeling there is for yog.
my uncle was emailing me the other day and he was like asking if the youths here are all excited about yog. i took a second to register what yog was, and then another second to instinctively type "no".
but i decided not to be so cruel and say "yes" instead, cos im sure there are some people who are totally excited about it. like ttm. hahaha!
in fact, i do know people who are "excited" about it. such as, people from ntu, who are totally excited about it since they start school in september due to the yog and as a result losing almost all of their december holidays. poor people.
not forgetting people who are required in some way or another to take part in the yog for any reasons other than their own desire, just to hype up the event.
and the drivers on the road who will roll their eyes when they see a purple bus behind them sporting two great idiotic looking cartoons that don't really have any meaning to their names, and that they are 'highly encouraged' to give way to them.
i guess i could go on but, to be sensitive to people who really are excited about yog, i shan't. after all, this is an event that singapore government is totally excited about, right?
adios!
