just back from my first ever prayer meeting in church. it wasn't too bad, learnt something new about praying and we were all praying together simultaneously, which somehow feels rather nice. that there's people praying about the same issues at the same time as you.

ahhhhhhhhhh. the sound of a well-rested and energised person, filled with rushing adrenaline of recent exercise.
i always forget how good exercising feels, the lovely after-effects of booming bass and sweating litres of body fluids out.
sweeeeeeet.
it feels even nicer eating good food with lovely company!

anyway, my second ORD is coming this wednesday. the reason its my second ORD is because my 2 month stint at stanchart didnt count, since that was the most enjoyable work ive ever done. they could cut my salary and i'll still go back there to work, so enjoyable it is.
whereas my current workplace is so reminiscent of NS, with its strict hours and comings and goings. foodfare style cafeteria, roughly the same choices of food, a controlled and rigid working environment. which is why it feels like im back in NS. which is why this coming wednesday feels like ORD part 2.
and if this is like ORD, what im gonna do is gonna be like VES.
i have no idea why.
is it the money?
maybe.

im writing this as i log on to msn for the first time in who-knows-how-many-years la. what are those damn indistinguishable colours next to each person's name? and why cant i view some people's email when i hover over their nick?
OMG im so left behind.
actually i cant rmb when the last time i used msn was. is it still called msn?

a wonderful surprise awaited me in my email today. i was just waiting for the bus when i saw the gmail icon on my phone, with 8 unread emails. thinking they were all the usual mailers i got, i decided to open the app and clean up my mailbox while waiting for the bus.
Mindef Notification didnt really catch my eye until i realised Mindef Notification wasn't something i was expecting or wanting to see.
intrigued, i logged on to the dumbshit ns portal and was promptly informed that i was gonna be called up in september. obviously i would be studying, which meant that i could defer (and i would, trust me).
but then, since i was in the ns portal already, it'd do me no harm to find out my NS unit, since its just a matter of time.
and im going to ATDC.
which is more or less computer games club, according to a quick search on google, with the help of several local forums.
so, its yippee? hahaha! just needa settle the administrative stuff for the deferment!
