The thought of shopping for clothes and apparels can never fail to lift up our spirits...in fact they serve as the only way to cheer up an otherwise dull and gloomy day. Atleast that's what I think about the whole exercise of going to the market and shopping for myself and I am sure there are many who would agree with me. So, here is some real good news for all those who love to shop and pamper themselves with a collection of great clothes and it’s the commencement of the “India International Garment Fair, 2008 (IIGF).” The fair has been organized by the Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC), and is supposed to be held from July 16-19, 2008 at Apparel House, Gurgaon, India. The exhibition will expectantly display an exciting and exclusive collection of garments, fabrics; fashion accessories manufactured by some of India's premier fashion and export houses. As a buyers you will be able to choose from a wide range of superlative quality of casual wear, City Wear, High Fashion/Occasional Wear, Lingerie, Sportswear, Leather Garment, Fur Garment, Maternity Wear, Uniforms, Work Clothes and much more. Where else will you get such a varied collection of clothes under the same roof? The universality of the fair is surely going to click with the audience and the fair should become a hit. However, the popularity of the IIGF has long been established as the bi-yearly show has now taken place for almost two decades. The fair is likely to witness a large number of buyers and buying agents from all over the country. The 41st IIGF will also feature some interesting theme based shows and ramp shows to showcase the creations of some of India's finest designers. The garment's fair gives all of us enough reasons to think of India as a leading export destination for fashion apparels and clothing. The country is home to a big chunk of quality textile/fabric manufacturers and fashion wear manufacturers. India also has a huge labor market where skilled manpower is easily available. Further, the country is the hub of world renowned and extremely talented designers and also provides one of the biggest markets for clothes and fashion accessories. Possibly it also throws light on a new genre of trend and style that is being increasingly adopted by an urban Indian. Today, there is no doubt that Indians are amongst one of the most well dressed categories of people in the world. |

The technology trade fair is here again after its stupendous success of the preceding three years. The success of the last three events has resulted in building great expectation for everyone, including me who are related to the electronics industry. Scheduled to be held from July 15 to 17, 2008 at the Chennai Trade Center, the fair is expected to receive large number of enthusiastic visitors The exhibition offers an unparalleled opportunity to view the latest solutions of the key players in the industry and a B-2-B or a business to business platform to forge international partnerships & collaborations. Personally, I being a manufacturer and wholesale dealer of electronic motor pumps would definitely vouch for COMPONEX NEPCON. According to me, it is a must visit for every businessman engaged in the industry. Like last year, the fair is expected to witness a well informed group of visitors from across the world. These people represent varied sectors related to electronic components and products technology. Few of these sectors include information/communications/medical technology, electrical & electronics technology, machinery and plant construction, vehicle construction, aerospace technology, quality control, consumer electronics, research & development, government sector, and technical & engineering institutions. I was astounded at the amazing amalgamation of technology and new business ideas at the last year fair and the wide range of products that were showcased. The list included: * Manufacturers and production of electronic components * SMT equipment, material, components and suppliers * Semiconductors * Sensors and Microsystems * Electro-mechanical components and fixing technology * Passive components * Subassemblies and subsystems * ED/EDA and measurement & testing technology * Displays/display manufacturers * Production Technology and logistics for semi-conductors * Production Technology and logistics for Microsystems * Production Technology and logistics for circuit boards and switches * Production Technology and logistics for subassemblies * Modules and hybrid * Operating resources and production subsystems services And even this year, I am expecting such large products range with new add on. Although, you might not be agreeing to what I have conveyed up till now and might be having a question that why one should visit this electronic trade fair. For that I have tried to list a few reasons below, as to why you should visit this electronics trade fair: It is a B-2-B networking platform for industrial professionals Hosting of a technology forum where latest technologies will be displayed Special cheap air travel deals with Indigo for attendees of the event An unparalleled opportunity to unveil new products amongst potential clients Business networking opportunities and joint ventures. Reed Exhibitions has appointed Le Royal Meridien as the “Official Stay Partner” for COMPONEX NEPCON Chennai €" India 2008, 15th €" 17th July, Chennai Trade Centre. My association with the fair has helped me update my knowledge about the recent developments and innovations in the industry. It has in fact led to a better understanding of the market trends and requirements of customers. I have also been able to ably implement these changes into my daily operations, which has led to immense success and growth. |
