Mood: daunted
Time ticks by over millions of faces,
Millions of things going on in a million different places,
And all I know is that I'm waiting right here.
Who ever really knows what their waiting for?
Who ever really knows what tomorrow could bring to them,
Or just what it might take away!
CHORUS
Though time may heal all wounds,
It does it's fair share of causing them,
Though we may be naive,
Relying on a clock to tell us what to do.
There are times,
When we must rise to who we are,
When we do,
We must realize that we haven't come that far.
Let me tell you a story,
Of a man who walked the desert,
With nothing but denied temptation.
Something we all must do,
But we never seem to make it
past contemplation.
Most of us seem to think that world
Is just our playground,
We aren't care-takers,
But just ones who stay 'til the party ends.
