Hi, afew weeks ago I created a poem about the emotions I went through during high school. Could you please provide feedback and any poems or lyrics of your own.

--- Pain is a Game --- By Jackie Lee --------

Lying on my bed, the same familiar ceiling
The thought of death is a familiar feeling
Will the blood be thick or thin
A thought that looms from deep within

At school I was teased
Can the pain be eased
Living with no control
A packet of panadol?

Pain is a Game, Pain is a Game
The pain inside, the pain I contain
My thoughts are a lion that cannot be tamed
Is it worth it, to live, is it sane?

Walking under a bridge, no longer reflection
The wheel spins under thought and conjecture
Behind the moon, to live high above
The rocket's the knife, the fuel is my blood

Do they know, do they care
To see my pain, to feel, would they dare?
They are drones to thier wants, to thier own needs
Emotion, its such a disease

Pain is a Game, Pain is a Game
The pain inside, the pain I contain
My thoughts are a lion that cannot be tamed
Is it worth it, to live, is it sane?

Now the bridge is burning, my last hope is gone
The moon doesnt show, the sun comes at dawn
I'm left with myself, myself has no name
Dirt is where I belong, dirt is from where I came

This constant darkness, from where does it stem
To be defined, of how, if and when
The hatred, the anger, sometimes imense pain
Maybe it's just my period again.

Maybe its just me, maybe its everyone, but what is up with the government's reluctence to harvest and distribute free placenta. There are people starving in third world countries, and we are just throwing high nutritional content in the garbage.

When are we going to learn that afterbirth can be a valuable comodity. Did you know that the ancient Chinese regarded placenta as a delicacy. Also, it was often used by ancient Romans to create the first metallic alloy.

But no. it's got the stigma of biological waste. What a wasteful society we live in.
