What's up everybody? Hopefully everyone had a good break and is ready to finish out the quarter and have some more time off school : ) This week won't be that crazy as far as dboat stuff since everyone should be studying, but here are some things coming up. * First off: No Practices But as stated before, winter break is no time to slack off, so keep training on your own time. Hit up coaches corner if you need any suggestions on workouts. * CPK fundraiser The CPK fundraiser that was scheduled for Wednesday has been postponed to January 7th when we get back from break. * Secret Santa For everyone taking part in secret santa, the gift exchange will be happening over dinner at Chile's in Westwood on Friday at 6PM. Bring your gift and also your dboat T-shirt if you have not already given it to Lona. We need to collect all the shirts to send them back to get re-done. If you are not going to make it to secret santa, please bring your T-shirt to Lona's room (Dykstra 719) before the end of the week. * Tahoe The Tahoe trip is still on as planned, but money from those of you going will need to be given to one of your PR officers before break. Look for an update on the amount and other details later in the week. For anyone not going because of the expense of lift tickets and rentals, you can always go and kick it in the cabin or make snow angels and spare all the expenses. Snow angels rule! Heyhey, Attached is a rough itinerary and cost breakdown for the trip. Total WITHOUT lift tickets/ WITHOUT ski rental = $138.50 Total WITH lift tickets/ WITHOUT ski rental = $237.50 Total WITH lift tickets/ WITH ski rental = $297.50 Login to evite and update your response if the days/costs fit into your schedule/budget. We need to know your final decision ASAP! If you are for sure about going, you MUST bring $80 (for lodging) to Chilli's on Friday.
