Anyways, land practices will be held as usual at 6 PM at drake. Just a heads up that Tuesday will be a fitness test so you can come prepared to improve on your numbers.
Wednesday will be the beginning of the Dboat Assassins game. There will be more information about teams and rules at land practice on Tuesday. Muah!
Thursday is the Rubio's fundraiser, which will run from 2 PM until 7 PM when they close. Make sure to come out and eat, but not too close to practice time. Tell all your friends to come down and eat too.
We will also be flyering outside of Ackerman and Rubio's from 1 PM til 7 PM and will be having sign ups for volunteers. We would like to have at least 5 people each hour to maximize our coverage and distribution of flyers.
Stay on the look out for more information about retreat and the Tempe race for those of you going.
Also for anyone who would like extra paddling time or those wanting to learn how to steer, we will finally start Saturday practices this weekend. If you are on the Tempe crew, it is crucial for you to come out to these practices to prepare for the race which is coming up quickly. We would also like to stress the importance of Sunday boat practices. Attendance has been down lately at a time when we need to be improving and not taking a break.
Lastly, there will be a comment box posted soon on the website for any anonymous comments that anyone would like us to hear about. We will take these comments seriously, so we would like you to also take the comment box serisously and refrain from adding in jokes or other non-sense.
Good luck on any midterms and come prepared to increase those numbers at the fitness test on Tuesday.
