Hey, Congrats to everyone again for an awesome weekend Tues - Land Practice WITH PATRICK! 6pm at Drake Thurs - Practice canceled. Rest those cute little bodies. Fri - We leave for Paragon Point. More information on that later. Be sure to pay Julia or Will $20 if you're racing and $10 if you're spectating by Friday. May 16/17 - Sponsorship Committee is planning on an adventure to go hunt for potential sponsors. Mark your calendars! If there's anyone waiting to hear the results from the Paragon Point Race in Redwood city. WAIT NO LONGER. They're here. The started the day big with the College Finals Race where UCLA finished in second place. The Mixed Seeding (seating?) race came next where UCLA took first place, followed by a Men's (or in our case Men & Women's) Seeding where we proved that men are not stronger, they just tend to look bigger and took first as well. The Mixed Semi-Finals came next and UCLA had placed first again. In the Men's Finals UCLA took third place! Finally, we ended the day with Mixed Finals A Division where the race was so close that the first four out of the six boats had finished within .30 seconds of each other. UCLA took second place nipping the ankles of the Dragon Warriors by a mere .17 seconds! There you have it, 'til next time db fanatics! - Dboat Officers P.S.
