Spanish 1

Ok, so for a long time I've been halfheartedly trying to learn Spanish. I heard of a way to do it by doing it in a blog, so I'll try it. So I'll try to clear up the questions. It's funny I get them mixed up. It's like in English, you think, "How can you confuse how with where?" But it's like learning a code. Bear with me.

dónde = where
qué = what
quién = who
porqué = why
cuándo = when
cómo = how
cuánto = how much

So I get cuándo and cuánto mixed up for obvious reasons. And then we've all be taught "¿Cómo te llamas?" is what is you name? but doesn't that translate to how is your name. Well, those are todays words. I'll try to learn them.

Hi Wade, I will definately look for a resoultion to this issue. It is an intensive and very hard answer to find. Character Sets are very touchy, and I have never looked into them, nor have I looked at anyone elses code to see how they did them. But I will attempt to find some code and fix this. No gurantees. If worse comes to worse I could manually correct these errors by parsing...if.

Thanks, but don't bother editing them manually. I'll just ignore the accents untill it gets fixed. It's part of the extended ascii table, I think http://www.lookuptables.com/. I have my browser set to western encoding and it seems I can see most characters, so maybe if there is an option someware to change the encoding, you could set it to western. Maybe try: Western (ISO-8859-1)
