wade Summer Update - Subscribe
I have not put anything in awhile. Just in case anyone reads this I will update it. And if emoblog lasts for awhile, it would make a good log. Hence B-log. But what is the B for? And so minor updates as follow:

Been vacationing here and there. It is good. This weekend will be the first I have not spent traveling and that is ify. I moved out of San Antonio at the end of June. I thought I really liked it there. And so I did. But now I do not miss it. In my travels I realized that now having a degree, I can go pretty much anywhere. Choices are limited if I stick with my degree, but there is still a large degree of options. I think I would even like to move out of Texas, a thought I would not consider while going to school, due to the doubleing or tripling of the tuition. But yeah, I think I want to go elsewhere. States without a state income tax are Alaska, Florida, Nevada, South Dakota, Texas, Washington and Wyoming. I think I would like to stay within that list. Unfortunatly, most of the jobs I am looking for require experience. There is a saturation of people with experience in my field, due to layoffs in the past couple of years. Employers can be picky. And to think when I started at UT-Austin, they were so desperate, that students on academic dissmissal were being readmited.

So I was going to take a trip to Sacramento, California. We were going to get tickets today, but my cousin called and said they did not want us. Kind of a bummer, but better then telling us after we bought the tickets or got there. So I am looking for somewhere else to go. Flying Southwest, if booked far enough in advance, you can go to their destinations for $200 round trip. I figure I need to take my travels now because once one has a full time job, one does not do anything. At least that is the impression I get from most people. I would like to take a trip back to southwest asia, but I value my head, so the probability is high I will not go.

I have been watching a bunch of ST:TNG's. My Dad bought the whole series plus TOS on VHS for about $60 from some guy. I think that was a very good investment. We are on the 3rd season of TNG now. I think we are trekies.
