I decided to play 1-3 on the playstation. I have them all but only played through Resident Evil: Directors Cut. But I played it again and got the Python with 00 ammo, then played it under 3 hours to get the rocket launcher 00 which is lots of fun. I did this with Chris. Instead of playing through again with Jill, I played Resident Evil 2. LeonA and ClairB took about 6 hours each. I got a D and C respectively. I had almost finished LeonA back when I first got it, but I did not realize my mega memory card had an all clear and ended up deleting all my saves. So I never finished it or started Nemesis. If you have a mega memory card for the playstation 1, DO NOT leave it on the odd looking character, the one after 24. Two things I noticed about RE2: The beginning for Leon is annoyingly hard, running past all the zombies. I guess I should have utilized the herbs more, but I tend to save them. Playing scenario B as Clair has an easy beginning, but the bosses are much harder. I ran out of everything but the handgun against the last boss. But then only one shot from it killed it. I thought I was going to have to go back and replay conserving more ammo. Also Clair gets the black lickers and carnivore plants, which take three acid shots as opposed to the green ones that Leon faced. They only took 1 acid shot or 2 shotgun blasts. So now I have a dilemma, should I play through ClairA then LeonB for RE2 and go for the ability to play as Hunk, and then play Hunk? Or should I skip it and play Nemesis? Or should I get Nemesis on Dreamcast and play that instead? I am planning to get a Dreamcast on ebay anyway so I can play RE: Code Veronica. Ah, the dilemmas of the unemployed. The question marks mean I value input. |
