| I am thinking I want to go to grad school. Job hunting for a job I actually want to do is seeming more and more pointless. I do not want to be a C++ programer. If I did I would have majored in computer science. I think the reason companies want EE's to do this is because we would work cheaper the the CS's. I recently got a list of Austin's technology companies. I think I will send off a tsunami of resumes to these companies, like a hundred or so, and see if I even get a response, but I think I will plan to go to grad school in the spring. At least that way, I do not have to pay loans. On a positive note, I finally got responses from 4 people who are willing to be a reference. One guy even said, I should send my resume and a picture. Nice way of saying, "I don't remember you, but I want to help you out." He did tell me I could use him as a reference about 6 years ago. |
