Why does Microsoft Word have to be such a pain in the ass? I had my resume perfect. All the things I wanted were right. All formating was aligned. It was as perfect as I could make it. I accepted all the changes, saved as a new file and was content. I hate working with Word, but since I was under the impression most companies wanted Word format, that is how I made it. (It turns out they all want text resumes so I could have just stuck with openoffice.org.) But I did not. I have a lot of time invested in the resume and was pleased with it. I even burned it to cd. I printed it out later several times. Nothing changed. Now today when I need to count on it, when I opened it, either from cd or hard drive, it is fucked up. On two different computers. It takes up two pages, the font is wrong, and my much painstakingly effort at alignment is for not. The formating is fucked. I took a couple of weeks making this with my brothers with documenting changes and such. This was version 12 or something like that. It was as good as we deemed it would be. Now I have to waste time formating and fixing it when I need to be sleeping. I am annoyed right now. Sorry for the cussing, I normally do not do that. I need to vent.
