I just saw the movie Lifeforce (1985) for the second time. I got it from Best Buy for about a dollar awhile back but haven't watched the DVD. So I was bored and watched it. The last time I saw it, I was probably around 13, so I completely forgot.
It's incredibly stupid and I wouldn't say the acting is bad, but the characters always seem to be on queue. Watching British actors mess up their American accent is amusing, but hard to believe. It cracks me up how they say 'girl.' It's funny how they keep coming up with the correct solutions to bizarre problems immediately. Also it seems that people never question exploring strange space ships and bringing in aliens back to their ship without even bothering with quarantines. As with Alien, you know that when any movie brings the problem to the ship without caution, everyone is going to die. Well, except for maybe one.
But the best thing is that you get to see aliens, vampires, zombies, and Patrick Stewart in the same movie with pointless explosions. That and the alien woman vampire is almost always naked. Whoohoo.
I was entertained.
