Wow, I was tired today. I slept more than normal and I think it is caffeine withdrawal. Probably for the last 2 weeks I've been drinking about 100 ounces of caffeine drinks a day. It helps me stay awake. I decided I would try to switch my sleeping times such that I would wake up before noon. I've recently been going to sleep around 11am and waking up at 5pm, so it's not like I don't get in a full day and the library is open 24 hours a day now.
So skip to Thursday and I decide to stay awake until about 10pm Friday. Of course I fail and crash around 5pm Friday and sleep until 1am Saturday. I figure this time I can stay awake until around 10pm Saturday. All is going well until about 2pm and all of a sudden it is like my head is in a block. I am exhausted, my eyelids are heavy. I stagger to the bed and sleep. I wake up at about 2 hour intervals, and it is a feeling new to me. When I walk, I feel as if I will fall. I take heavy footsteps. My vision is in a fog. I feel heavy. My eyelids don't want to stay open. I could lay down anywhere and be asleep, and I do. I sleep in various places around my apartment, where I just lay down, and instantly am asleep. It was pretty weird. My phone ran a couple of times and I remember I could not read it. I hope I didn't answer in this state. I finally wake up around 8:30 pm Saturday.
So I was thinking about it and it occurred to me that I consumed no caffeine from about 2pm Friday and on, so that might explain the desire to sleep and the slight headache. It is annoying because I was going to write my program and get it done Friday. Now I have to do it today.
I was thinking of not getting any more caffeine, but I just now changed my mind, since I am starting to get groggy again.
