Things to change

For the past year or so, I've been going to sleep around 4-7am. It's been working out ok, but I've been trying to switch it up so that I awake around 8am. It's very hard. Just last night I was extremely tired and went to sleep around 10:45pm, and slept 3 hours. So now I am awake again. It's like my bio clock is set for my habit. If I do switch it up for a couple of days, inevitably, I get reset back to how I was. This is very hard. If I pull an allnighter to fix it that way, I usually sleep something like 12-15 hours the next day and go back to 'normal.'
Next thing I need to do is break the caffeine habit. I'm sure this is contributing to my sleep change problem, but it's hard. If I go without, it's like I wake up with my head in fog or sleep more then 12 hours. I need that caffeine. After a couple of days I get that bad headache and after another couple of days I should be clear. But due to the easy combo availability of caffeinated drinks and that I don't cook much, I usually get some caffeine.
