Man, I weighed in yesterday and my weight stayed the same. DAMNIT. I think its b/c I wasn't going to the gym last week...I did get a few nites of cardio from the videos I have but it isn't the same as working it out on the treadmill...
So, I finally got all set up wtih the new gym...it has a few things that I just have to laugh at. First off, they tell you to bring a towel..I'm thinking for my sweat..yeah well it is for my sweat...to get it off the machines. They have towels there that you can use to wipe the floor but you use your own towel to wipe down the machine..sick huh? What else what else, the shower costs about $1 for 5 minutes use...well you might get about 7 minutes but it starts off cool, warms up, then cools down. Yeah I know...a crock of SH. SO, I will be showering at home. Next thing I DON'T like is that they want you to weigh yourself every time you work out....I don't want to stare at my weight everyday!
(sigh)...now to today
I WOKE UP READY FOR MY WORKOUT (to take place later in the day)..but to make a long story short, the gym was closed. WHY, I don't even know....it is usually closed on Monday's and this past Monday was a national holiday so MAYBE because of that they closed...would have been nice if they would have told me that last week. So THAT put me in a bad mood..I was really mentally and physically prepared for a good workout. Nonetheless, I ended up doing about 40 minutes of Pilates...it amazes me how minimal movements can burn ur buns off and have you sweatin like I'm doin cardio boot camp. I dunno, I gotta switch SOMETHING up so that I can start to shed these pounds..well kilo's over here....pray for me!
