Ixxi is a modular wall art system that allows you to piece a bunch of printed cards together to form a mosaic. While this system can easily be used for making impressive collages out of summer camp photos or wedding albums, we see no reason to succumb to such mundane projects when you can use it to hang up your pixel art masterpieces - and feeling like an interior design virtuoso while doing so. This Scandinavian product allows you to design and order the cards (and accompanying connectors) online using their web-based tools via their website, which is conveniently located at
this address. May you have many happy clicks ahead.

A nice little speedpaint of Final Fantasy VII's Tifa Lockhart I found on the highways of the internet a few days ago. The posture, the unfinished quality and the liveliness of the picture as a whole grabbed my immediate attention. It's done by a 23 year old Australian-born Vietnamese lady named Viet-My Bui, who can be found on deviantart as her alter ego
Ravenskar. She also kindly included a process of this speedpaint on her
blog, which I think she should be sainted for.

The Game Crafter is a web-based board game creator that also lets you sell stuff you created on their website, in that sense it's a little like the
Etsy of board games. The gist is that you design cards, boards and instruction manual using their in-browser tools, then publish your game onto their marketplace. When someone likes your game and orders a copy, The Game Crafter will print it and sell it for you, then take a 30% cut of the nett profit. Sounds reasonable considering you make a profit even if you sell 1 copy of your game. Anyway, take a look at what they have over at their
website.

So have you ever wondered how it would be like if Ryu had a face-off with with Jin, or if Chun Li and Ling Xiaoyu had a cat-fight, or if Zangief and King started a cage match? Well, wonder no further. A Brazilian illustrator that goes by the name of Pe-u has realized this... on paper. I love his exaggerated manga depictions of the classic characters, makes the matchups less than serious and all out hilarious. Might be cool to have them on my phone's lock screen. Anyway, enough of my blabbering, you need to check out this awesome dude's
Deviantart page right now, where he has a lot more cool art in stock.

So I found this in my mailbox today, and thought it may be of assistance to someone out there. DComSoft released an Actionscript encryption software named
SWF Protector, that is designed to guard your AS2 and AS3 code from SWF decompilers. They invited me to try out the tool, but I declined the offer because I'm not well-versed in the art of Flash-Fu and might say something silly. I did look it up on the net though, and quite a lot of sites gave it the thumbs up, like
this and
that, so it's mighty likely that you'll be impressed by it.
The software is free, but if you are intending to make money from your Flash games, you need to purchase the commercial license, which will put you back about 60 USD. You can download this nifty piece of tech at their
website. Cheers and beers.
