Hey Guys. These last 2 days have been really hard. As you all probably know, my Pap passed away last Sunday, on Mothers Day at ManorCare. I just cant belive that he's gone, I mean I can still remember when I would spend a weekend in Fayetteville and we would walk down to the Firehall, vist the guys down there and get a paper. The viewing was Wednesday. And the Funeral was today. The service was great. They had the Fayetteville Fire Dept. Fire truck in the car lineup thing, because my pap was a firefighter and he was the oldest member of the firehall. Yeah, so they had the firetruck carring my pap (because he was cremated). The firetruck had black drapes on it, and Halligan (the firehouse dog) was riding on the top of the Fire engine with my pap, and they flew the American Flag, And when we went by the Firehall, they had all of the Ambulances out, and the Fire cheifs and like all of the other cars out with the red lights flashing and omg it was so sad. And the worst part, when we got to the cementary, they shot guns 3 times, (because he was in the Korean war), and the worst part, was when they played TAPS, It was so sad, my eyes still hurt from crying so much. I still cant belive that he's gone. But, I bet he's up their now bugging someone, just like he used to. If you want to read more, go to http://www.fayettevillefirerescue.com/
