Made Me Smile:: That moment with the kissing and all..open eyes is good at times ^_^

-whimpres- I got ready to leave work today, and ended up looking incredibly lame

I noticed when I got to work that my remote for my car wasn't working to well, but I finally, after fiddling with it for a few minutes, got the alarm to set. Well, leaving work, the damn thing wouldn't work at all, so I go to use the key, and whatdya know, I set off the damn alarm. No problem, right, just get in, turn on the car, and go. If only.

-sighs- The damn thing had already cut the starter circuit off, so here I am, scrambling to turn off the alarm, while people stare at me like I'm an idiot [what can I say, I've only had the car for a week..]. Finally the guy that drives the baby blue Honda came up and told me to pop the hood, so I did. Then he unplugged the battery, and we went about trying to figure out a way to rig the remote long enough to turn off the alarm and let me get on my merry way to Union City so I could by a new batter for the darn thing. We tried it all, nothing would work, so I sent him on his way, and called Daddy.

I ended up having to go to Fulton to get a batter for it, and when we got back, presto, alarm system turns off with the click of a button, and I'm headed home.

Oh yeah. I went by the Carribean Corner restaurant today to see if they were hiring waitresses, but, alas, they weren't, so I asked for flyers to pass around, and they gave me two menu's, one to post at work, and one to use for info. They told me to make sure that I told everyone that I sent them, and they would give me 10% commission. Woobie ^_^ I hope they don't go belly-up..the people are so nice and it seems like they would have good food!!

Brett came by after school, and then he came by work. He brought Baker with him though -grrs-. It sucks that Baker is Mr. Anonymous. I really thought he was a good guy..so much for that idea. I still like him and all as Brett's friend, but I don't guess I can really call him a friend of mine anymore.

So. Yes. After they left, Drew came by, and then Daddy to drop off my INF check from Nelson's. While they were there, Emy came in. I'm getting sick already of them coming to Huck's to get gas just so they can spy. I just want to scream at them:

"You wanna know if Brett's visiting me at work, call or something, but for fuck's sake, quit being so god damn snoopy. You're not fooling anyone!!"

But you know, that would just be mean. It's gonna be funny when Brett realizes what they're doing though. He doesn't take it kindly when he notices that people are 'spying' on him.

Anyway..so, yeah, I still haven't said it yet. I wanted to today..it was one of those moments when you kiss, and you just draw back and you can't do anything but smile..and then you kiss again. I wanted to say it..but once again, I swallow my words in attempt to make it more meaningful when I finally do say it.

Oh yeah, one good thing about 'blue' [I dunno his name, I just know he drives that awesome baby blue Honda] having to unplug my battery..my check engine light went off ^_^ Ah well, it'll come back on if something's still wrong.
