The beginning

As we all know, well I hope most of us know, the country that we live in, the United States of America, has been having problems, both Foreign, and domestic. When I served in the Army i took a vow to fight any threat of those two natures, but I find myself at a loss at how to do so. I was discharged, and I have had my share of troubles that would make anyone completely void of the chance of running for any form of office, but at the time I have seen this great country rise and then fall, I have learned a great many things thanks to my elders, and my peers, as well as some youth. One thing I have seen in history, is that when a country, and its people, are faceing great hardships someone steps forward and gives them a hand up or a group does something drastic. To name a few, Hitler, Stalin, The Revolutionary War, the Assassination of Julius Caesar, and there are more, alot more.
Now what am I talking about? showing you problems, with no solutions? Not at all my friends, I have a suggestion that may fix some if not alot of the problems we are faced with. I propose that we form a new country, but we start small. First I will get together a list of lets say one thousand people, if not more. Then I will send this list, along with a letter, and a recorded video, to congress (and where ever it may need to be seen), and ask for a plot of land to build a base of opporation and the freedom to begin the formation of our own colony. Then I, along with anyone else that follows, will start a peaceful discussion on building the colony itself as either a bio-dome in Antartica, a city beneath the oceans waves in the Pacific, A floating homeland in the same ocean, or a very large space station. Of course these are just theoretical, and are subject to change, and improvement.
After Negotiations with the nations involved have taken place, we will get to work. But we will keep alot of people here in the states, our mother country, to provide disaster relief, construction crews, and what ever else may be needed. Because we may be looking for our freedom else where, but this nation is our home, its is where most of us were born, and I will not see it wither and die while I run for safety.
Finally, when our new home is built, I see it only fair that the USA has first rights to whatever we may export, and if they should call on us, we will be there. Remember, we will be a colony in the beginning, and probably for a time after that. But even still, we will be an infant as a country, and America will always be our mother, let us not make this a battle for freedom that we already have, let it be our peace that lets us write a new age of freedom for all.
