"Technology...is a queer thing. It brings you great gifts with one hand, and it stabs you in the back with the other."
â€"C.P. Snow, New York Times, 1971
Procrustes was a mythical Greek giant who kept a house by the side of the road where he offered hospitality to passing strangers that he invited in for a meal and a bed for the night. However, as soon as his guest retired, Procrustes went to work on him adjusting the guest by stretching him on a rack if he was too short for the bed, or chopping off his legs if he was too long.
Enforced conformity! Six thousand years of history proves that all political powers eventually end up steamrolling citizens into conformity. To accomplish this, people have to be controlled tyrannically. Before the fantastic advances of technology over the last three decades, enforced conformity was not always easy, at least in the USA. Not anymore!
All governments fish for and archive information on their citizens for control, and technology has made that fishing and archiving an easy task. In Spychips, a book authored by Harvard doctoral researcher Katherine Albrecht and former bank examiner Liz McIntyre, a meticulous, systematic investigation draws on patent documents, corporate source materials, conference proceedings, and firsthand interviews to paint a convincing and frightening picture of the threat posed by Radio Frequency Identification (RFID). No bigger than a grain of rice, it can be injected into a human with a syringe. It’s already cooked up and in use:
"Imagine a world…where you’re every purchase is monitored and recorded in a database, and your every belonging is numbered. Where someone many states away or perhaps in another country has a record of everything you have ever bought, of everything you have ever owned, of every item of clothing in your closetâ€"every pair of shoes. What's more, these items can even be tracked remotely.
Once your every possession is recorded in a database and can be tracked, you can also be tracked and monitored remotely through the things you wear, carry and interact with every day.
We may be standing on the brink of that terrifying world if global corporations and government agencies have their way. It's the world that Wal-Mart, Target, Gillette, Procter & Gamble, Kraft, IBM, and even the United States Postal Service want to usher in within the next ten years. It's the world of radio frequency identification."
[Chapter 1: SPYCHIPS: How Major Corporations and Government Plan to Track Your Every Move with RFID, January 2005.]
The Devil is usually in the details and while the details are yet to be totally disclosed, large brush strokes are there for those who have eyes to see. In order to carry on daily activities, and deluded into a false belief the chip will insure safety and security, the majority of mankind will gradually be seduced into a Spychip bed. They will accept it as a “great gift of technology” while falling victim to its “stab in the back,” and like the guests of Procrustes, to the stretching and chopping hand of a draconian world leader:
"And he [antichrist] had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six." [Revelation 13:15-18].
The methodology (maybe RFID) for imposing that conformity is not yet fully exposed, but refusing the ID prevents you from buying the necessities of life, using your car, feeding your children, accessing a doctor etc. Taking the ID solves all that, but damns you to an eternity with the Devil and his angels. If you’re not a Bible believer, you may be inclined to brush aside the idea that you could be pressured into such a scheme. But think reader! I’ll bet you couldn’t function right now without your Social Security number! How about your ID driver’s license? Your ID credit cards? If you’re not saved, do now what you read below and then study God’s Book to see where you and everything are headed:
"…if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." [Romans 10:9,10].
