Song: Third Day - God of Wonders

So I don't know how many christians are out there on Aeonity and I'm not going to try to convert anyone so just read on tounge.gif...

Today I had an experience that can only be expressed and true praise. I went to see Third Day live at the stampede. The concert was amazing to say the least. But, the most important part was when the lead singer started talking about the power of God and how he has the typical cycle of falling from God then finding him again and being accepted by God. I have just found him again. Today, at the concert, we were told to pray at one part so I did and during that time, I found him. Maybe it was the music, maybe it was the mass gathering of people, but whatever it was, I found myself turning back towards Christ after a long fallout. My life the past while has been all over the place and lacking of one thing. Guidance. Where God normally led me I was empty and now, as of about 3 hours ago I have found that guidance again.

Anyways. Just thought I would share that experience with you all and I'm sure I will get some GOD DOESN'T EXIST comments but to be honest... Those are the comments I want so that I can explain how powerful the feeling is when you are sitting in a stademe full of people worshiping. It is like nothing else and at the time the only way to explain it is God.

Sorry if this post bothered you guys and it will be my only God related post.

So, I've been a way for a while now but I have returned from an amazing two week break...

It started with me going to my cabin which is always an amazing experience in and of itself. Boating, Tubing, Wake Boarding, Water Skiing, Swimming, Golfing. Who wouldn't be happy. After a week and a half of that I came back home were I have been relaxing. Then last night I went to see Our Lady Peace (one of my all time favorite bands). Was such a great concert considering it was free with admission to the Stampede which is only $12 anyways.

All in all... Life is great...

Don't really have any morals are messages to say but all I can say really is enjoy life well you can. So many amazing things to do and see why get down and miss out on stuff.

Anyways,

Later guys

Song: Remember When It Rained - Josh Groban

So... someone please explain to me how this works... You have an amazing day with your grilfriend/boyfriend and everything is going great.... perfect in fact, and then for some reason she/he gets all sad and depressed. How come people cannot take what happened during the day and be happy about that and ignore the rest of the world. Who cares if you go home and your parents yell out you. You just had an amazing day with your guy/girl. Hold on to that and be happy instead of letting the stupid little things get to you and bring you down. Yah, your not with him/her anymore and you want to be by their side, but thats not possible, so pinning about it isnt going to do anything so be happy you had those great moments in the first place.

anyways.... I doubt anyone will really care about this rant but I decided I may as well post a rant sooner or later.

Still has a moral though... Dont let the little things in life let you down. Take everyone moment for what its worth and enjoy it. You only live once so why hate it well your living it!!

Lost....

Last night I was up till 4a.m watching Season 1 of Lost on DvD. I don't know how many of you watch this amazing show, but those who do will understand where I'm coming from when I say "What the hell?!". The show is created around a group of plane crash survivours on an island. Each episode explains the life of one of the passangers on board, well also following what is happening on the island. What is most intreging about this, is that they are always parallels to eachother. A lot of other screwed up stuff happens like a polar bear existing on this tropic island and some massive monster roams free aswell.

Now, you may all be wondering why I'm just explaining a TV show. Well, its because this very entertaining TV show has so many symbols and deeper meanings. (Small spoiler... really small) For instance, one of the characters dies and on that same day a child is born. These to events occur at the same time. The significane of this is fairly clear in my opinion. Life, Death, people die in the world and somtimes there is nothing we can do save them. But with each death there is also a new begining of the mirical of life. So, my 'thing' for today. Don't take life for granted. You live once and its a beautiful thing to live no matter how messed up the world gets. Enjoy the great scenes of life becuase death is inevitable. When it comes though, new life begins.

So I was looking at my sunrise picture, which I took by the way, and all I could do was smile looking at the beauty that is our world. My mind then drifted to why humanity has become so twisted in its logic and ways that we have become what we are today. The world is always in continual balance, the sun rising and setting, the wind, the weather, everything is there to balance something else out. Weather is natures way of reacting to a problem in order to return to equilibrium with itself. But then, there are humans. One of the only species in the world which feels the need to never be balanced.
*Side note: I know it sounds like I'm a tree hugger but I promise, I'm not!*
I have no problem with how humans have developed their world, no, that is not what I mean. What I mean is that mankind cannot seem to find balance in their day to day world. Wars, racism, crime, homelessness, etc... Now one might say that all the above are simply animals fighting and causing nature to bring about another balance. But we, mankind, are the only animals that fight that balance. Disease for instance. With the continual development of better medication we continually stop nature from bringing about equilibrium with us so that we can stand above nature. What inside us causes us to hate eachother. No other species does this. Yes, they may fight for food, survival of the fittest, but that is not the same as a tyrant deciding to kill thousands of people for simply standing up for what they believe in.

Anyways, this rant is kindda getting sidetracked and personally I'm not sure exactly where I'm going with it but to sum up.
Take time outta your days guys just to enjoy the simple rising and setting of the sun, or the birds singing their songs as you rush to work. Enjoy these simple things because they are not things that can be found within mankinds seperate existance from the world.
