Kolonia or Oboz

To begin with, I am part of this polish scout thing or what not. There are the younger kids = zuchy and the older girls = harcerki and older boys = harcerze.
Okay. Now, there are summer camps right? Just like those normal people do. Councellors and people like that.
We, polish people, have oboz = camp for the older peoples (boys and girls seperated) and kolonia = camp for the younger peoples (10 y/o and less).
So yeah, we got that cleared.
Now, each camp is divided in a certain way.
This is going to be a bit tricky to explain but I am trying my best.
Firsty, there is the komenda group.
komenda in the polish-english dictionary means command group. So there is the command group.
In the command group there is the komendantka (or commander) . There is both male and female at kolonia however, at oboz there is only one (because it only girls or only boys). The second person is the obozna, no clue how to say that in english, but its the right hand of the komendantka. If that helps. In other words. Its an important person. Then there are other people, like cook..and other people like that.
Moving on to the next lower group. Kadra = staff.
The function of kadra at kolonia is = the kids are divided in groups and each person or Zastempowe. Each group is called a zastemp. Alrighty. So yeah, thats the function of kadra at kolonia.
The function of kadra at oboz is = people are divided roles like...incharge of diary, doing sports, etc...lousy stuff like that...

So yeah (to be continued...)
